About

A nationwide field services company, founded in 2019. You send the job, we put a qualified technician on site.

We solve the same problem two ways: the job, or the person who does it.

Glamor Design USA is a field services and technical resourcing company. Businesses that need work done at a physical location — an install, a repair, a rollout, a pair of hands in a building where they have nobody — send us the job, and we cover it.

Clients who need the capability for longer take the engineer instead. We allocate technical people to work under your direction full time, hold them against a response SLA, or source and place them permanently onto your own payroll — on site, in your office, or remote and offshore where the role allows.

Both sides run off the same network and the same vetting. What we do not do is send whoever happens to be free — every technician and every candidate is matched against the skills and certifications the work genuinely calls for.

How we started

Founded in 2019, around a gap nobody wanted to own.

The company was founded by Salman Ahmed and built around a problem anyone running distributed sites eventually hits.

A switch fails in a branch office four states away. A store needs its POS lanes refreshed overnight. A customer site needs someone to plug in a console cable and read out what is on the screen. The work itself is small. The location is what makes it expensive — sending your own engineer costs several times what the job is worth, and takes them off everything else for a day.

The usual fallback is worse than it looks. Finding a local contractor, checking they are insured, briefing them properly, then chasing them afterwards for proof the work was done, costs more in coordination than it ever saves in travel. Doing that once is an inconvenience. Doing it across fifty sites is somebody’s full-time job.

The resourcing side grew directly out of that. Clients kept asking to keep the technician we had sent — for a month, for a project, sometimes permanently. Rather than treat that as lost work, we built it into an offering: the same vetted people, engaged for as long as the need lasts.

Glamor was built to absorb the coordination entirely.

You describe the job once. We find a technician who is qualified for it, confirm they can be there in your window, and send you back photographs, timestamps and a written close-out. You never have to manage the person on site.

What we have learned

Field work goes wrong in predictable ways.

The site contact is unreachable. The parts did not arrive. The scope described a switch and there are three. The job needs a certification nobody checked for.

Most of our process exists because of those failures rather than in spite of them.

  • Access and parts confirmed before the technician travels
  • Scoping specific enough that surprises are rare
  • Same-day escalation when a site does not match the work order
  • Performance tracked job to job, not assumed from a CV
Who we work with

The people who would otherwise be booking flights — or reposting the same job ad.

Managed service providers

Supporting clients outside their own service area, without putting an engineer on a plane — or adding contracted engineers to the bench during a busy quarter.

IT integrators

Install capacity that scales with the project pipeline instead of the headcount budget.

OEMs and vendors

On-site warranty work and deployments carried out to the manufacturer’s standard.

Multi-site operators

Retail, hospitality and logistics groups with sites spread across the country.

Internal IT teams

Branch and remote office cover for teams whose people are all in one building.

Companies hiring technical staff

Roles that have sat open too long — filled on contract, contract-to-hire, or placed directly onto your payroll.

How we judge the work

Three questions, every single job.

  1. Did the right person turn up?

Matched to the skills and certifications the job called for — not just the nearest available body.

  2. Was the work done properly?

To your scope of work, tested where testing applies, and left in a state the next person can pick up.

  3. Can you prove it afterwards?

Photographs, timestamps and a written close-out, sent the same day rather than at month end.
