A dedicated resource is a named engineer allocated to you full time. They work to your direction, in your systems, on your schedule — but they stay on our books, so the employment liability, the cover when they are sick and the replacement when they leave are our problem, not yours.
The role can sit at your site, in your office, or work remotely. Where the work genuinely does not need anyone physically present, offshore engineers on your business hours bring the cost of a full-time seat down considerably.
